"Dr. Yana is far and above THE MOST PAIN FREE AND CONSCIENTIOUS DENTIST I'VE EVER BEEN TO. I am 55, M, former smoker. Several dentists in the last 3 years had refused to fill a cavity on a molar. Dr. Pekarski offered to fix that cavity. She said it's getting too close to the nerve, and she could fill it before it required a root canal. I was literally stunned with joy. I've never felt joy at the dentist before. Her numbing technique was expert — gel before needle and the softest touch. I didn't even know when she was done pulling the tooth. She's that good. Upon walking in I was taken back by the energy, the decor, the Hawaiian vibe! I was led back to a room so cozy and clean — hygienic and chic! I came in to have silver fillings removed. They take the PROPER safety precautions that EVERY OTHER dentist should take when removing harmful mercury fillings. I felt safe in their hands. I can't say that for anyone else I've been treated by. "I had an exposed root on my tooth, I was in extreme pain, and they got me in on a Sunday. They were kind, caring and honestly the most pleasant experience I have ever had at the dentist. I hate needles and never felt any of the shots. After the extraction I was sent home with gauze and a cleaning tool. Yana did a follow-up call two days later to make sure everything was okay. I've never had that before. I'm so grateful they gave up part of their Sunday to help. They're wonderful."
