Dr. Yana Pekarski was born in the Ukraine, emigrated to the United States in 1990, and grew up in Carmichael.

After graduating from UCLA Dental School in 2007, Dr. Pekarski completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. During her residency program at the Maui Oral Health Center, Dr. Pekarski received training in dental implants as well as pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Pekarski has 15 years of experience working with children and adults, and is knowledgeable about the needs of the geriatric population. As the eldest of 11 children, she has a way of making children feel comfortable around her, and adults sense the extra care as well.

Currently Dr. Pekarski is focusing on a holistic approach to dentistry.
